If you’re anything like us and you want to swap this dreary February weather for Ibiza, then you’re in luck. We’re transporting you back to hotter climates, courtesy of Christine and Luke’s wedding in June 2022.
This perfect pair were absolute goals to work with and it was an honour to bring their Ibizan wedding dreams to life – their celebration was filled with stylish décor, authentic elements and all the good vibes
. And while we wish we could go back in time to relive their wedding, instead the best we can do is bring their big day to the blog. So, keep scrolling, soak up the sunshine and prepare to swoon…
When it came to choosing their perfect Ibiza wedding venue, Christine and Luke’s hearts were instantly captured by Casa La Vista. It’s tucked away, far from the hustle and bustle, along the North Ibizan coastline. 30 acres of forest surround the villa, while its own secluded beach cove is just a stone’s throw and a short stroll away.
Casa La Vista brings its visitors the tranquillity of Ibiza, without compromising on the style, sunshine or service. Long story short, this hidden gem was just made for Christine and Luke’s celebration. The couple wanted to embrace every aspect of their venue, opting for an elegant-meets-bohemian feel with oodles of organic details. We’re talking muted, earthy tones and an array of natural textures – this is one to add to your Pinterest board folks.
On the morning of their wedding day, Christine and Luke’s guests made their way down the tree-laden hilltop, that eventually opened out onto an opening, providing one of the most wow-factor ceremony spots we’ve ever seen.
Bamboo backed chairs, a boho rug lined aisle and a macramé archway awaited, along with hanging rattan and seagrass lamp shades dotted amongst the trees. Burnt orange and white dried florals by Flowers Ibiza worked beautifully against the raw, rustic and natural tones of the Ibizan setting – not to mention the bridesmaids’ rust silk slip gowns and the groom’s suit.
The bride arrived in an off-the-shoulder gown by Rue de Seine, turning heads as she made her way down her alfresco aisle. Overseen by Oso, the celebrant, the ceremony itself was intimate and styled to perfection by Velvet Circus.
Rustic-luxe wooden signage guided guests back up the hill and through the forest, where cocktails and canapés by Crisp Catering welcomed them on the villa’s terrace. Friends and family mingled in the heat, as they overlooked the sparkling turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
And as the sun slowly began to set over the ocean, Christine and Luke made their way to the gardens with their guests for their wedding dinner.
Long wooden trestle tables were adorned with seagrass chargers, golden cutlery and amber glassware. Vibrant bud vases were filled with eucalyptus and lunaria, lining table runners alongside rattan tea lights and freshly cut grapefruit to add a pop of colour.
Tying in with the rest of their colour scheme, rust coloured linen napkins and off-white minimalist stationery added the final touches to their tablescapes. Above the tables, a canopy of fairy-lights twinkled in the Ibizan night sky, transporting guests from day to night in the most elegant way.
After an emotional set of speeches which brought tears to a few and laughs to many, the couple took to the floor for their first dance as husband and wife. Cue Natalie and the Soul Family – a band you can always count on to bring energy to anywhere! They provided the most fabulous soundtrack for Christine and Luke’s celebration, where they partied late into the night with their loved ones.
