Oh, how we adored planning Irina and Edward’s Ibiza wedding! We’re throwing it back to their ultra-stylish celebration, where ‘Ibizan Chic’ collided with ‘European Elegance’ vibes. Their multi-day celebration was held from 24th – 26th September 2021, with 120 of their friends and family to experience a weekend to remember. Our mission at Ruth Alexander Weddings was to ensure each event flowed flawlessly from one to the other, so that the newlyweds and their guests could really enjoy every second of their time in Ibiza, celebrating their love story. So, if you’re in need of a splash of Ibizan sunshine, you’re certainly in the right place. Today on the blog we’re sharing a snippet from Irina and Edward’s special day with you…
This stylish pair hosted their pre-wedding event at Cala Bassa Beach Club, which is a slice of paradise renowned for its exquisite Mediterranean haute dining experience. Boasting spectacular sea views, the sound of the crashing waves in the background and fairy lights galore, this was the perfect setting to kick-start the party! Irina and Edward then headed to Casa Agua for their wedding day and pool party the following day.
Effortlessly stylish, Casa Agua is a modern luxury Ibiza villa that provides its guests with panoramic ocean sunset views. Irina and Edward were spoilt with marble terraces, manicured lawns, a 25-metre swimming pool, not to mention five king sized ensuite bedrooms with space for up to 12 of their guests. With the help of Flowers Ibiza and Velvet Circus, we worked with the couple to create a green, white and blush pink colour scheme. We focused on blushing proteus, white roses and olive trees as the main floral components. All of which were used throughout their extended celebration, from the floral ceremony archway to the seating plan, statement table centrepieces to the bridal bouquet.
Guests were welcomed with a glass of fizz or thirst-quenching cocktails, before sitting down to enjoy Irina and Edward’s ceremony of cream carpets and bamboo fans. Once vows had been exchanged and the ‘I Dos’ were said, friends and family sat down to a chic wedding breakfast. St Louis Chairs surrounded the tables, with epic floral pieces that gave the appearance of growing from the crisp linen tabletops. Tables were scattered with subtly coloured goblets, charger plates and napkins for the dreamiest place settings you can imagine. The wedding breakfast seamlessly transitioned into an energetic evening that was filled with glitter, fireworks and all the magic that an island party brings.
The vibrant and upbeat vibe of the evening celebration followed into the following day with the pool party. We embraced a bright, tropical-inspired and fun colour palette with plenty of playful elements and chilled out music that allowed friends and family to relax and unwind. Pool party entertainment was provided by the team at Connor & Giles.

Every element of their multi-day wedding event in Ibiza reflected the couple’s diverse personalities and love of the island. We worked collaboratively with Irina and Edward to create new discoveries and unveil an array of exciting details throughout their celebration, from whisky bars to donut walls, elaborate grazing boards to live performances.
