Harry and Samantha’s October wedding was just... breathtaking. And when it’s hosted at one of our favourite Ibiza wedding venues, Purehouse Ibiza, you just *know* it’s going to knock your socks off. From the colour scheme (cue all the greenery) to the florals design, these guys really nailed those cool Ibizan vibes.
Purehouse Ibiza is renowned for its intimacy and elegance – which is the perfect partner for the sizzling sunshine and beachy backdrop. With 100 of their friends and family on their guest list, the couple wanted a space that felt exclusive and had everything they needed for the perfect day. Harry and Samantha’s vision for their theme centred around ‘simple natural elegance, with a focus on green, white and muted accents – a dreamy combination.
Our team at Ruth Alexander Weddings are fortunate enough to work with an incredibly talented network of suppliers and our florists are certainly no exception. Flowers Ibiza transformed the blank canvas space at Purehouse Ibiza, bringing it to life using peonies, eucalyptus, olive greenery and white delphiniums. They weaved pops of pampas grass throughout the styling and décor, adding a subtle touch of boho-luxe to Harry and Samantha’s wedding day. We worked with Flowers Ibiza and Velvet Circus to ensure we drew inspiration from the venue and its surroundings, designing the tablescapes with ceramic hand-crafted charger plates, grass placemats and natural linen textures throughout. Minimalist festoon lighting was carefully draped across their trestle tables, which added a touch of magic as the Ibizan sun slowly set.
The epitome of stripped-back luxury, we effortlessly epitomised ‘less is more’ when it came to styling Harry and Samantha’s special day. Purehouse Ibiza offers a chic, clean and organic vibe – instantly setting the scene for an epic celebration! When we initially met the couple, it was clear that Harry and Samantha wanted a relaxed celebration, where they could completely relax with their loved ones in the most beautiful setting – a once in a lifetime opportunity, particularly post-pandemic.
The bride was a vision, opting for a simple yet elegant silk slip dress that allowed her natural beauty to shine through.
This concept was mirrored throughout their wedding day, from their carefully considered stationery to the bridesmaids’ crisp white gowns.
Our gentle direction and creative decisions at Ruth Alexander Weddings aimed to add to the existing beauty of Purehouse Ibiza, rather than concealing it.
