If you’re in need of some wedding inspiration, look no further than Shereen and Tom’s ‘Ibizan Chic’ wedding at Atzaro Hotel in Ibiza. This luxury hotel is tucked away within 13 hectares, offering the perfect blend of elegance and nature for those who get to experience everything the hotel has to offer. It was the perfect backdrop for Shereen and Tom’s intimate family celebration on the island. We’re bringing you a snippet of their very special day on the blog, so get scrolling and enjoy!
As guests arrived at Atzaro Hotel and made their way to the ceremony space, they were greeted with welcome drinks under parasols, offering respite from the hot Ibizan sunshine.
Wooden benches lined either side of the white clothed aisle, each peppered with a glass floral arrangement filled with greenery, pillow-soft white blooms and pampas grass courtesy of Flowers Ibiza.
Shereen’s bridesmaids looked gorgeous in silk, olive-green gowns that worked beautifully with the organic colour scheme and flowers, making their way down the aisle to await the bride. A vision in a Florianni Ricca Sposa dress with a classic cut, Shereen glided down the aisle, where a long billowing veil effortlessly completed her look.
Tom and his groomsmen looked incredibly handsome in natural linen suits, where they were able to keep cool but still look smart for the duration of their wedding. Their celebrant, Sunny, oversaw their intimate ceremony, before guests were welcomed into the hotel’s glorious gardens to tuck into cocktails and canapés.
The newlyweds made their entrance down the pampas lined steps, where they dined on a three course a la carte menu with their friends and family in the most exquisite Ibizan setting.
Round tables sat under the pagoda, along with a long top table that had been beautifully adorned with a greenery runner alongside a pampas cloud that sat overhead.
Our team at Ruth Alexander Weddings considered the couple’s vision, styling each table with chic minimalist décor that consisted of white linen, China crockery and silverware, finished with candles and greenery to align the with top table.
As a luxury wedding planner, the speeches are one of our favourite parts of any wedding in Ibiza, and Shereen and Tom’s were certainly no exception. They were heartfelt, emotional and of course, filled with anecdotes that put smiles across everyone’s faces. The perfect addition to Shereen and Tom’s intimate wedding day.
As the sun set in the Ibizan sky, the newlyweds took to the floor to cut their wedding cake, before swirling into the dance-floor for their first dance as husband and wife. DJ Mikey Brain was on hand throughout the evening providing an epic soundtrack to get guests on their feet for an evening of fun and partying until the early hours.
